Top Two Lip Products for August

These two new lip products are now in my holy grail box. They are both available at Sephora and come in a multitude of colors. My picks for this month are the new Marc Jacobs Lust for Lacquer Lip vinyls in Overprotected and Urban Decay's new Revolution Lipstick in 69. I apologize in advance for the lack of photo quality. They are taken with my phone with light that doesn't do these lip products justice.

Marc Jacobs is inspiration to me. I am an art major with plans on becoming a fashion designer and Marc Jacobs is who I would want to work for the most if given the opportunity. I was so excited when his beauty line released. I am the cliche broke college student so I could only buy one thing and this is what I was drawn to. It's amazing! I am really picky about my lip gloss. This one isn't sticky it goes on great and  is beautiful. It has a slight vanilla smell to it which I LOVE!

This is a great everyday lip gloss when you just want a tiny bit of color.

The minute I saw that Urban Decay was having new lipsticks I raced over to the website immediately and began to drool!  I saw F-Bomb and 69 and I fell in love. I am a red lipstick junkie and the risque names made me want them even more. I couldn't afford them but luckily I got a sample in my August Ipsy bag and after trying it I will sell my body to get money to buy these!  Well....maybe I won't go to those extremes but I really want them now after trying it. It may have knocked my M.A.C. down a notch. (You'll soon deduct that I am a M.A.C. whore but shhh don't tell them I'm cheating on them) The staying power of this is UNREAL! It's not drying either!

Normally, I will prime and line my lips with M.A.C. cherry liner but I didn't for this swatch.

If you are looking for new lip products to try I would suggest all these two with all my heart! I am definitely going to purchase a full size Urban Decay as well as more MJ lip vinyls. They both are sold at Sephora for 22$ for the UD and 28$ for the MJ
It's elementary, My dear Watson. Makeup is a love of mine. I hope to use this as a way to share my interests and thoughts with people who share the same love as me. I plan on using this to do tutorials, reviews, and thoughts on beauty products.

A little about me: I am 21yrs old. I have been using makeup for 8 years. I love to do very dramatic/edgy looks but I also do neutral looks on occasion. I love to do costume looks in my free time so I hope to share those looks with you as well.I am in many fandoms including Sherlock, Doctor Who, Star Wars, and Supernatural. I hope to do a lot of looks inspired by them.
